I stumbled on blood flow restriction training, through a couple of podcasts and a good colleague of mine in Joe Jeffrey. I began researching this way fo training my legs, due to training with a brittle bone disease known as Osteogenesis Imperfecta. There is numerous studies showing the benefits of this training in regards to bone growth and safety for me, by utilizing lighter weight while creating maximum demands on my legs. I shot this video with the intention of bringing this more to those with injuries or with my bone disease as an alternative perhaps to working out in a “safer” environment while still achieving some great results according to the literature.
